Current research Interest:

• Arsenic  toxicity and its remediation by garlic and its bioactive components.
• Isolation and identification of different garlic components involved in amelioration of arsenic toxicity by different techniques like Mass spectroscopy, FTIR, NMR, HPLC .
• Study of mechanistic pathway involved in the modulatory action of garlic against arsenic toxicity.

Best Poster Presentation award at 15th All India Congress of Cytology and Genetics 2011 held from 21st Nov 2011 to 23rd Nov. 2011 at Department of Botany, Magadh University, Bodhgaya, Bihar. Title “A mechanistic approach towards modulation of arsenic toxicity with the bioactive garlic component Diallyl disulphide (DADS)”.
