Mr. Samir Mandal

M.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Calcutta

Current research Interest:

• Synthesis of the different types of anticancer drug loaded magnetic nanoprobes for sensitive killing of cancer cells and tumours via induction of strong external magnetic field.

• Monitoring the effects of these anticancer drug loaded magnetic nanoprobes on cancer cells and tumours by using various techniques of molecular biology, biophysics and especially with MRI.

• Studying the influence of different types of nanostructures on protein folding and unfolding by using different biophysical techniques and elucidation of the different thermodynamical parameters.
